Singapore Zoo!

peacock
It's the June holidays and almost any parents with kids below the age of 10 would have at least visit the Singapore Zoo at least once. Having spoken to quite a number of tourists, almost everyone commented on how impressed they were with the Singapore zoo, the layout and the way the animals are displayed.

It will easily take you up to at least 2 trips to cover the entire zoo, it's advisable too that you take the tram for an orientation.
The monkey is being fed sweets which is of course prohibited. If not there is no way anyone could possibly capture them at such a near distance. Pardon the quality as my Treo 650 is afterall not a digital camera.

Botonical Garden Outing

Botonical Garden in Singapore is truly one of the few places left where you can enjoy and relax without paying. It's popular amongt the local expats simply because it's located near where most of them live.
You get to catch free performances ranging from plays to bands performance on some Sundays. Parking is free until July 2006, rumour has it that working people has been parking their cars at the garden for free for years...

It's really a great place for the kids, young and old.
